Dear Symantec forum people,
I'm currently trying to create a WinPE 3.0 (Windows 7) based Rescue Disk. I've been playing around for hours, trying to replace files in the SRD wim-file with ones from a clean WinPE 3.0 wim, but to no success. There are just too many differences between the WinPE 3.0 I want and the WinPE 4.0 used on the disc for me to hope to catch all necessary SSR files from the Rescue Disk.
Is there any way to achieve my goal easier, e.g. are there prebuilt images with lower PE versions but the most current SSR version?
If not, is there some kind of list which files were added by Symantec / which files are Windows specific?
