While installing 7.6.0.1 client software on *nix hosts (Solaris in particular), the software will let you know if there is not enough room in its final destination (whatever partition /usr/openv is in); however, it does not check that there is enough /tmp space for it to perform its work. What the result is is a non-functional client. If the install were to check the install space *and* the temp space required to perform the install, this wouldn't happen. Thanks for listening!
